The public gallery was inaccessible for wheelchair users so some families had to watch a webcast in a separate room. This family looked on as cuts to disabled childrens respite centres they use were approved.
The police tried to remove families from the public gallery but some families refused to be removed.
There was an unprecedented and heavy police presence as families of disabled children and adults faced savage cuts to their services.
